So much for a breather. I just updated my faebook's shoutout like thing when I came across this weird thing.

It said that firstly, our pads are not degradable at all! Just like diapers omg. I didn't know that. And THEN it says something like this.

The Mooncup is a reusable menstrual cup around two inches long and made from soft silicone rubber.

uhh?

It is worn internally like a tampon but collects menstrual fluid rather than absorbing. Unlike tampons the Mooncup is not a disposable product, so you only need to buy one.mooncupThe Mooncup will hold 30ml of fluid, which is roughly one third of the average total produced each period. A light seal is formed with your vaginal walls allowing your menstrual fluid to pass into the Mooncup without leakage or odour. You will probably find that you need to empty your Mooncup less frequently than you currently replace towels or tampons.

OMG. It actually COLLECTS and then YOU HAVE TO EMPTY IT. I'm not too sure if it's er, a good thing or not cause it might get a bit messy, especially in public toilets cause you have to like, empty and if it touches your hands, where are you going to wash it before coming out of the toilet?!

But it's a good idea though. Kudos to the person who came up with this!
