I've been neglecting my blog for so long I see! The past few days have been pretty fun and I'm enjoying my time off for quite a bit.

However, IT'S COMING TO AN END NO!!!

I can't believe it's ending so soon, yet I don't entirely regret anything I did during this break because it's been pretty fruitful. It feels so different from the previous holiday though! I used to wish that I was back in school cause hols were just plain boring.

Not anymore ;)

Anyway, I have to settle my cooking shoes soon so I'm going to meet the rest of the gang to do them together, and then consider whether I'd like to attend weishun's church event. It sounds pretty inspiring by the way weishun told me bout it. If there's nothing on I'd go over heh.

Guys I miss ALL of you. I feel so lazy to upload the 43984029384029 pictures I have in the phone which I have collected for this main purpose but whatever. You guys would see it anyway.

Heh. Thanks to the 'smart' technology by LG, it's so hard to transfer stuff into my comp that I just gave up.

Laksa!

Today was yet another extraordinary day and I must say, my holidays did not go to waste. I think this is the ONLY fruitful holiday I've ever had because I've totally learnt to make use of this extra time to learn and do things that are more productive rather than the usual eat, play, shop, game.

It's totally unusual of me to spend my holidays this way, if you've known me long enough. The previous me would just spend her time playing or pooling if there are excess days and scream and game when she isn't allowed to go out! Looking back at this, I find myself so useless last time. Thank goodness God gave me a chance to start anew(:

Also, thank God that there's someone by the name of GILES LIM who was sent to help me and bring me to the right track! :D Thank you giles ;) I love you!

I guess it's never to late to learn something like that. You guys should do it too!

Whatever. I made laksa today and it was so fab! The taste of the soup was DEFINITELY there, except for the ingredients such as prawn and that taupok thing. The prawn has got that disgusting seafood taste in it which sucks, and the taupok didn't quite absorb the laksa gravy well. The dish itself needed loads of preparation, which was quite a hassle, but the end product was definitely worth the time and effort! Me and weichan couldn't stop saying:

This is SO good.

It is :D I can't wait for my parents to try it tonight like, now or something cause I made extra for dinner! I wonder what they'd say and if they're all positive, the next audience I want to target is none other than giles lim and his family ;) They always give me so much support!

The holidays seem to pass pretty quickly and I must say, aren't they just great!

Holidays = I'm free = Get to see Giles more = Get to have fun with friends = Get to have fun with weichan = Get to learn some other cooking stuff = FUN!

Hahahhaa yeap, I can't do those long equations but hey, I definitely know an equation as hard as that one!

Freetime = Holidays - (Weichan + Friends + Cooking)

Therefore, we can conclude that,

Freetime = GILES! ♥

Hahahaha what a loser to come up with something like that!

Anyway, yesterday I had an excellent day! I spent the time with giles and celebrated his bro's and sis' and grandmama's birthday altogether! Also, they wanted to celebrate the grandmama's and grandpapa's wedding anniversary so it was an altogether thing! Since I can't exactly write chinese and come up with some nice.. Things to write on a card, I decided to cook! :D

I made sambal prawns!

Bad part : I forgot to add Rice vinegar.

Oh doh.

It turned out pretty well still actually! Loads of people liked the sauce but come to think about it, all I did was just fry the prawns into the sambal. Which means...

I CHEATED!

I should've made the sambal myself! See see there you go. Another thing to be added on the list soon!

Come to think of it, my list is overflooding with things to do. Not that it's impossible to do, I just have to work towards them hahaha. One step at the time!

Yadayada, yesterday was such great fun with giles and all that I can't even wish for more cause I think god'll punish me for asking too much!

And today, I was kinda disappointed with a bit of everything. The terrible storm clouds, that I assume was blown away to somewhere like Indonesia, still invaded the skies of Singapore and punished all of us with a heavy downpour!

I know most of you people think it's a blessing but NO! Sleeping is a total waste of time.

Me and weichan went to the beach and was hit by the gentle drops of water. When we went to mac, oh doh. It poured like no body's business! Dear god, why are you so evil! We just wanted to keep fit!!

Not that we're not. HAHA. Weichan is in no condition to exercise!

We got back home and did lame stuff cause we were just tooooo bored and Maria couldn't make it yadayada.

Sigh. Let's get back to business!

Yesterday's DnD wasn't the most exciting event ever but hey, at least it gave me a chance to be girly!

Hey guys. The past few days have really been awesome and I totally didn't have the time to blog but it doesn't matter cause I'm doing it now!

Lets see, lets start with thursday.

Headed out with the fantastic four and weichan to find some nice dresses for weichan so that she can totally knock everyone out at the D&D. She thinks I'm kidding, but I mean LOOK AT MY FACE.

Ok fine sometimes.

OK FINE ALL THE TIME.

But this time I'm serious! I really want her to knock everyone out and then she'll have so many suitors that I'm going to sit at one corner with giles and the fantastic four at one panel and go like,

A: This isn't so bad.
G: Hmmm...
M: WHAT. He looks like crap!
CY: Why, cause he doesn't look too old for your taste?
M: Shut up.
WS: He's okay la.

Kind of thing you know? I can totally IMAGINE it! :D Ok fine I shall not talk about this further.

So we had a fun time searching for her dress and found 3 but uh, they weren't so special, especially the first and the third. The second one was a Zara one but I thought it was normal and the rest thought it looked great. Oh wells.

And so, chernyu made a comment that my blog's boring cause I go like, piggy this piggy that. I won't stop the whole piggy thing, but I'll just blog about MY FANTASTIC FOUR so that you guys can just shut up about it hahahhaa.

Ok whatever.

I ate dinner at LJS with weishun and weichan and we did a whole lot of catching up, except that I was the one doing the talking mostly heh! I haven't had the chance to talk to weishun like that for a longlong time man.

Oh and maria and chernyu and ME were so nice to get weishun a tongue uhm, thing, for him to replacing his thing with so that he can go to school without it being too obvious. I hope you're touched weishun! Thank maria cause it was her idea(: We all love you ( as a friend :D ) HAHAHAHHAA!

I think I did cooking on friday yesyes with weichan and I made that chicken saute thing so I can cancel if off my list! :D I had comments such as...

I spent my day with giles yesterday as usual, and we watched THE ILLUSIONIST and SHE'S THE MAN. I know they're old shows but hey, they are really good! The illusionist confused me abit at first but it was great, and amanda bynes is totally hot hahahahhahaa.

Whatever.

Then we watched Sleepless Town, this musical thing, and boy, can the lead really sing! She's only 13 and her voice is like...

WOW. I can't seem to find a word for it.

Today went by quite quickly and smoothly with weichan. We spent the morning in parkway, searching for our ingredients to cook the dish, EGGPLANT AND RICE. Yes that's right! If any of you noticed at my list of 'things to do' at the left hand side, it USED to say something like,

Learn to cook ______ with Weichan.

Do you remember that? Hahahaa that was cause I wanted to learn it for Giles because he simply loves it! :D However, the looks isn't THAT appealing though. It looked a bit like cake but nothing to hold it together so it's crumbly and well, unsightly! I kinda liked the mince pork's taste cause it's quite fragrant and filled with lots and lots of spices! :D

And I'm starting to think that I kinda like onions. NO!!!

Anyway, later that day, we spent our time watching juno and playing around with makeup for the next biggest event, the D&D on 11th of March. I mean, it's not like I have to look totally fab on that day cause I'm already attached and NOT looking for another, but my dear Weichan must look stunning and be THE MOST prettiest girl in the D&D that she'll totally knock out at least 9/10 of the people there! Hahaha and then some guy with 430948203948023984 great qualities will hook her up and then they'll fall in love and...

Wow the picture is AMAZING. And I remember what soonhwee said.

You should dress like an Ahma so that it'll give Weichan this BIG contrast so that she'll look prettier than ever.

Darn right his words are! But it's a pity, I won't be dressed LIKE an ahma, but I'll try to look less stunning ok. AHAHHAA you know I'm talking as if I've always been stunning.

Whatever.

Our makeup was eh, quite a success I guess, with me and my fantastic art. I took the opportunity to draw further and I kinda looked like something like this:


SEE THAT. Batman's ultimate uh, assistant, Robin! I looked just like his weird eyepatch thing. Me and weichan had a very good laugh because it was just pure retarded-ness and then the retarded-ness got worse when I took my makeup off ohmygod. The entire thing smudged, making me look kinda like this:



Except that I'm not so cute, not so fat, not so furry and DEFINITELY not with claws and black ears!

Ok beat that. I am terribly beat and tomorrow's going to be one full day of 'stay-at-home-and-rot' or hanging out with timmy for quite a bit.

Yawn yawn I miss doing primary school maths!

The past few days were amazing. I'm starting to feel that I'm getting the holiday mood and soon, I might not be able to get it off!

Lets start with Thursday! :D

I had a great 'blade' with clement, chernyu, maria and weichan and god, it was raining so heavily every now and then that we hardly even got to blade at all! ): It was a great pity, because clement, maria and weichan rented their blades for 25 bucks and they only bladed for the most, 2 hours! Thank goodness I have my own, though it's old and torn and broken but HEY, 25 BUCKS IS A BIG DEAL.

I hope the next time we blade it'll be a bright, sunny day! :D

Friday was with Giles(: As usual, Giles' day is always the best day but you guys would go:

I think it's something like that hahaha. I'm currently hooked onto that song and I think it's quite catchy and Ashlee Simpson IS quite hot!

Back to the topic.

Saturday was the star gazing day BUT due to the bad weather, we didn't have the chance to do that! ): It's a big big big pity cause I was so looking forward to it!!

Whatever amanda looks forward to, it always screws up ): I'll just do it at Giles' place! Blessing in disguise heh ;)

Which reminds me of something stupid that happened on Saturday! There was this man who wanted to ask this question to the panels or something, so he walked to the microphone. The microphone stand wasn't adjusted properly, so the mic fell to the bottom due to the weight, bringing up the end of the stand. It's kinda like that Seesaw thing or how you spell that you know? One heavy person sit at one end and a light one at another. The heavy one drops. You get the idea.

So then, he MISTOOK the end of the stand for the mic and....

HE SPOKE RIGHT THROUGH IT.

Nevermind. Common mistake. But to make things worse, he started TAPPING IT to test the 'volume'.

HOLY CRAP NOW THAT'S FUNNY!!

I couldn't stop laughing and Giles had to shut me up a bit cause for some reason, hardly anyone laughed so I had to stop):

If Giles weren't there, I would have seriously went like, HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

God, I crack myself up.

Anyway, back to story! :D We had some fab dinner on that day (it was provided FREE! Call me a cheapo or an auntie I don't care, because they had SIEW MAI!! :D Hi trev) and I felt soooo contented(:
