I'm halfway through my hols and still, not much done or achieved. I will be working next week at Swissotel for a couple of days with my coursemates and a really cool girl that I just met. I am really looking forward to it, despite the crazy working hours.
Just an update: I didn't make it through the salmon competition. It was a real setback for my buddy, but it was more of a relief for me. Although I'd love to go through the special training that Chef Desmond said he'll give us, I think it needs a lot of commitment and a hell lot of work.
Not to mention that I might have to go through Chef Desmond's crazy side that I've never seen.
Nevermind about that. We've learnt a lot from the competition already and both of us are ready for the next if they were to throw something else at us ;)
Meanwhile, I've been a really good girl at home by tidying my place and studying a bit, reading and of course playing when I get a chance to. I even decided to walk my dogs, and they ended up coming home with wounded paws. The poor things.
There are so many things I'm missing right now. Sigh.
